    Responsibilities

    • Confer with the homeowner and installer on the original installation of the door to determine the eligibility for warranty service.
    • Determine the appropriate scope of warranty work.
    • Inspect job sites, assessing headroom, side room, weather exposure, or other conditions to determine appropriateness of door for a given location.
    • Collect payment upon job completion.
    • Complete required paperwork, such as work orders, according to services performed or required.
    • Remove and replace lights as appropriate.
    • Repair or replace worn or broken door parts, using power and hand tools.
    • Set doors into place when dealing with a repair or warranty service.
    • Apply hardware to doors such as drilling holes to install locks.
    • Bore or cut holes in flooring as required for installation, using hand or power tools.
    • Adjust doors to open or close with the correct amount of effort or make simple adjustments as needed.
    • Enter parts for service calls.
    • Order new products for services not ordered yet.

    Qualifications

    • Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
    • Experience: 2 plus years of experience in Construction, carpentry or door installation.
    • Must possess excellent customer service skills as you are dealing with customers and dealers.
    • Computer Skills: Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, ERP systems.
    • Certifications & Licenses: Must maintain a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving history.
    • Other Requirements: Must maintain car insurance and must have an acceptable background check.
