This is a non-exempt, full-time, hourly position reporting to the Shift Supervisor.

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be charged with shipping and receiving wholesale building materials such as vinyl siding, asphalt shingles, and fiberglass insulation to name a few. To succeed you must be able to work effectively as part of a team, be willing to do what it takes to get the job done, and take pride in yourself and your work. This is a permanent position that requires repetitive motion and long periods of standing and walking on your feet.

  • Unloading, counting, sorting and putting away incoming freight using RF guns, forklifts, and order pickers
  • Counting, sorting, scanning, packaging, and loading outbound freight by hand or by using other equipment such as hand trucks and forklifts
  • Reviewing shipping tickets to identify and locate material and quantities to be shipped
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules at all times
  • Sweeping, emptying trash cans, removing debris and packaging materials, and performing other general housekeeping duties as necessary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds
  • A willingness to work overtime
