    Palmer-Donavin is seeking an entry level Business Analyst I to join our team. The goal of this position is to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and communicate across the organization to create solutions.  This analyst will play an integral part in our transition to a new ERP system.     Major Responsibilities:

    • Work directly with Subject Matter Experts to create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures specifically related to our new ERP system.
    • Analyze information problems, requested changes, and required modifications to develop appropriate business process solutions. 
    • Assist our Project Manager with developing, testing, installing and modifying programs on a project basis.
    • Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail business processes supported by enterprise systems.
    • Prepare technical reports, simulations, and instructional manuals to document systems development.
    • Establish database and application configurations, standards, guidelines and quality assurance for systems development deliverables such as conceptual design, usability, external data interface requirements, data loading, maintenance plans, and security policy.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree
    • Moderate knowledge of Excel and other MS Office programs
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication
    • Excellent interpersonal skills

    This individual will work out of our headquarters in Columbus, OH, just 10 minutes from downtown. Some travel will be required between the 4 Palmer-Donavin branches as well as the 4 branches of our sister company, Seal-Rite door.
