    As a Production Associate, you will be charged with fabricating and assembling the finest quality residential entry doors on the market. To succeed you must be able to work effectively as part of a team, be willing to do what it takes to get the job done, and take pride in yourself and your work. Oh and did we mention that as an employee of Palmer-Donavin you will also be an owner?

The starting pay rate for Production positions is $14.50 with the opportunity for overtime.     • Reading work orders to determine the production specs of each door
    • Identifying, locating, and pulling the correct door slab and other components
    • Modifying the door slab as necessary to meet specifications
    • Using routers, saws, jigs, aluminum brakes, pneumatic nailers, pneumatic sanders, electric and pneumatic drills and drivers to fabricate, assemble, and disassemble fiberglass, aluminum and wood products
    • Physically moving the door from one production station to another
    • Inspecting work to identify defects, production errors, and quality issues
    • Cleaning the shop and doing light maintenance work 
    • Other duties as assigned



    • No previous production or fabrication experience necessary
    • Safety awareness
    • High school diploma or GED equivalency
    • Basic math skills
    • Ability to read a tape measure and work orders
    • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
    • Some overtime will be required
