    The Part-Time Cash Application Clerk will ideally work 24 hours per week on MTRF with Wednesdays off. The typical work time will be 9am-3:30pm with 30 minute lunch but can be flexible. An ideal candidate will have a very high attention to detail and be ok with repetitive and tedious data entry. The main responsibilities of this position are:

     

    • Applying checks to invoices, scanning them to direct deposit, and balancing ledgers (90% of the job)
    • Sending out letters of new accounts where credit has been opened and maintain account files
    • Assisting with collection managers on accounts
    • Problem solving accounts when accounts do not balance
    • Answering customer phone calls regarding how checks were applied and invoices

    Qualifications

    • Quick typing speed on a 10 number keyboard
    • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills
    • General working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
    • Prior bookkeeping experience or equivalent education preferred
    • Acceptable personal credit and background history check
