Position Location:
This role will not report to a physical facility. A qualified candidate will need to live in or be willing to relocate to a residence in Iowa, with the preference being in or near Des Moines.

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will call on an existing customer base of independent lumberyards and prospect for new accounts within your territory. This includes route planning, call planning, business development, product training, and product demonstrations, as well as resolving customer service issues and meeting all goals.

In the Outside Sales Representative position, you must be tenacious, self-managed, team-oriented and able to deliver a high level of customer service. You must understand the building materials industry well enough to discern customers from competitors. A qualified candidate should be independent, entrepreneurial, and able to run a territory like their own business. You must have a strong work ethic and be ready to become a responsible and competitive owner.
