Quality Control Inspector

We are seeking a quality control inspector to join our team. This role will be part of our quality control department and will report to the Warranty & Quality Supervisor. Schedule

Sunday - Thursday 3:30 PM - Midnight (overtime as business requires).

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting materials, processes and/or work for to confirm policy and specifications are being followed.
  • Measuring dimensions of products using measuring instruments such as rulers or tape measures.
  • Rejecting products or materials that do not meet specifications.
  • Notifying supervisors or other personnel of production problems and trends as they relate to quality. 
  • Writing test or inspection reports describing results, recommendations, or needed repairs.
  • Recommending necessary corrective actions, based on inspection results.
  • Inputting data into company computer systems using ERP systems and/or Microsoft Office products.

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred
  • Qualified applicants must have at least 12 months of prior experience in fabrication or quality inspection.
  • Qualified applicants must have a keen eye for detail including subtle differences in color shades, color values, finishes, textures, etc.
