Business Analyst - Sales & Marketing

Palmer-Donavin is seeking a Business Analyst - Sales & Marketing to join our team. This analyst will work directly with business users and managers across the sales and marketing departments to ensure they have timely and accurate data that will drive sound business decisions. The position will have several responsibilities, ranging from data collection, data modeling, reporting, and communicating insights across the company. This is not a position focused solely on building reports. This position will play a large role in how data is distributed and consumed across the organization.

This individual will work out of our headquarters in Columbus, OH, just 10 minutes from downtown. Some travel will be required.

• Work with various teams throughout the company to understand their processes and develop Power BI data models to track performance and drive revenue.
• Uncover sales KPIs that can be measured and improved upon through process improvements.
• Process large amounts of data for statistical modeling and analysis using Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Excel.
• Design research projects that apply valid statistical techniques to gain necessary insight into questions raised by sales managers and employees.
• Plan data collection methods to effectively captures sales, customer, and product data.
• Ensure data in our ERP systems and other sources are accurate and complete.
• Complete audits of Power BI data models to ensure reports are consistent and incorporate the latest visualization techniques offered.

• Bachelors Degree in business administration, analytics, mathematics or related field
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and other MS Office programs
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Self-starter attitude and history of high performance 
• 2-4 years of previous analyst experience (preferred)
